This item does not come with any software and HDE cannot provide any.
THIS CABLE WILL NOT WORK FOR CONNECTING A COMPUTER TO A TV. You cannot get an image signal through a USB port that way. This cable is not transferring data or files, it is only for viewing images on RCA-equipped camcorders.

i bought this item and when i got it i tried to plug in my camera and it blew out. this cable was junk. i went to radio shack and was told that its the concept and design flaw. i wouldnt buy this

Item was delivered in a timely manner. Unfortunately the mini-projector I purchased it for doesn't support files on the pc so I really haven't been able to use it as yet.

This little unit is great to look at and gives you the feeling that it will really do an awesome job transfering data. if all you want to do is look at it plugged into your computer and give the appearance that your a high tech geek then buy it. Or use it to wrap around your other wires to keep them together but don't get this thing if you have high hopes your gonna transfer anything good luck. it doesn't come with a driver for the PC to recognize what the heck it is and whats it's doing stuck in your computer. When I plugged it up and attached the wires to my camcorder,VCR,DVD etc. there was a virtual hand that extended from my screen and slapped the bejeebees out of me and called me names for 30min. "Thats computer talk for it did nothing". Bottom line..WHAT IS IT????? It's not for geeks like you or me. Low price but no dice.
