1 out of 5 stars Disappointing   July 29, 2010

I have played the Hohner American Ace for years and recently decided to try some of their other low cost harmonicas. I liked the Pocket Pal but do not like the Old Standby at all.

5 out of 5 stars Good beginners harmonica   July 27, 2010

This harmonica seems to me to be good for beginners. Right now as a little side hobby I decided to teach myself a little music and the instrument I chose is the harmonica. It seems to work fine and seems durable. Good if youre just starting out and following the idiots guide series on teaching yourself harmonica. They recommend getting one in key of c by a good brand.

We bought this for my son's second birthday. It is so lovely that we hesitated to give it to him, luckily he received another from a friend so my husband has decided to try to learn to play this one. It sounds very lovely. I like that the case for it is hard plastic and waterproof. Nice to taking camping.

We got this for our 5 year old daughter who has been wanting a harmonica for awhile now. She loves it! It works great and is a really nice quality. The vintage looking case is very nice too. Very pleased with our purchase.

I just received this harp from Amazon. Draw on hole #2 does not work!!! The sound quality is not consistent, some notes sound good, other do not!!! There is no doubt that I got a defective harp.
