We just got it two weeks ago. Send reviews out after six weeks. Who has timje to run and test everything right away. I do nto even have toime to uswe spell chekc.

These are as good as any dvd's under a name brand. Why pay more for same type quality. Now, I am trying Verbatim which is rated the very best made which Amazon has at an amazing price. I would defiantely buy this one compared to average brand names.

I've been sitting on these for a while because I discovered I don't have DVD burner after all. Finally I got tired of waiting and took them to my parent's house and started backing up my dad's files. I discovered I could add files to the disc a little bit at a time and see how much space was left on the disc. That allowed me to easily mix and match folders and use as much disc space as possible. There were no problems writing to the disc or reading the files back. Both the read and write seemed to go very quickly. So as long as Amazon can keep the price reasonable, we have a winner. No need to spend more on "name brands" when these work just as well.

Have achieved the highest success rate with these discs. Have had very few failures. Great pricing. Will reorder and will use these discs exclusively in the future.

I ordered and received a spindle of these discs the other day. At the Amazon.com regular price point, they are about the same price as other discs locally when on sale.
First impressions:
I can't say that blank DVD media is typically in frustrating packaging, but I can say that these were shipped in well-designed packaging that prevents them from moving around. Surprisingly though, the printed white wrapper is on the inside of the spindle top and sized to fit snugly around the discs which means you have to remove it to get to the discs. I'd chalk that one up to slightly frustrating; the wrap should be sized to fit inside the spindle top OR even better be on the outside.
Observations:
As others have mentioned, the disc surface is very shiny somewhat cheap looking. The first two discs had cosmetic marks on the underside, common with cheaply packaged spindles, but didn't seem to exhibit any recording issues.
Oh, and at least for this spindle, the Disc ID reported is: AML-003-00
Will I buy these again?
Yes, but probably only if I can't find a spindle locally on sale.
